Vic de Kock (Snr) entered the Labour Law arena during the early 80’s under the guidance of Adv. Gey van Pittius. At first as an interpreter at Foskor, and later being a part of the team who gave valuable input in the formulation of the current Labour Relations Act. Vic de Kock (Snr) has ever since been involved with the practicalities of Human Resources and Industrial Relations with an emphasis on Labour Law at shop floor level.
The Corporate Industry formed a great part of his career as he was actively involved with amongst others, the facilitation of disciplinary hearings in the workplace, combined with the representation of employers at CCMA proceedings as a member of an Employers Representative Organization.
Drafting of various policies and procedures furthermore forms part of Vic de Kock (Snr)’s accoutrement as unique cultures in organisations are created and formed within a working environment. Vic de Kock (Snr’s) passion is his interaction with individuals (one on one or in a group format) with an emphasis on changing bad behavioural patterns to that of progression towards higher levels of productivity in the workplace and being positive in life’s lookout.
Vic de Kock (Snr), besides speaking various African languages, has an in-depth knowledge of the African culture which allows for easy negotiations and integration in the workplace between cultural groupings.
Vic de Kock (Snr) pioneered several practices in various regions across South Africa namely:
• (Rustenburg – North West) – known as “Vic de Kock Labour Law Consultants”
• (Postmasburg – Northern Cape) – Directors Law on Call - DIRLLOC
• (Pretoria - Gauteng) – Labour Law on Call - LLOC

Victor de Kock (Jnr) followed closely in his mentor’s Vic de Kock Snr’s footsteps, becoming passionate for all matters Labour and Labour Law related at a very young age. Victor de Kock (Jnr) started as a Human Resources Officer in Postmasburg – Northern Cape as early as 2011.
Victor de Kock (Jnr’s) employment history included the overseeing of the completion of units 1 to 3 at Kusile Power Station from the period of 2013 to 2021 in the capacity of Human Resources and Industrial Relations Manager ensuring harmonious labour relations.
Victor de Kock (Jnr) also has experience working abroad within the Kingdom of Bahrain before being offered the lifelong dream and opportunity to join his mentor within a partnership.
Victor de Kock (Jnr) later furthered his Human Resources studies to include that of an Assessor, Moderator and Facilitator to assist Clients with their Skills Development requirements.
